We are taking a brief hiatus from breeding to focus on our daughters health and treatment.  We will still be able to fill our current waiting list, but will not be taking any additional pre deposits.  We do have more babies in nests right now than we have deposits so if you are wanting one of our babies, now is the time to get your application in.  We will also be placing our young adults and adults in approved homes.  If you are interested in any of these animals, we will need a filled out application on file.  This is a very difficult decision, and we do plan to breed sometime in the future.

 My name is Tina.  I am a small USDA Licensed breeder of African Pygmy Hedgehogs located in  Port Orchard, WA.  My smaller size allows me to offer you a much friendlier and more socialized baby than other larger breeders.  It is my goal to produce the best quality baby, not the most babies!  I got my first hedgehog in 1994 and have been owned by them ever since. 

Because of my small size, I am able to give each baby the individual attention and care that it needs and deserves!  Babies are handled multiple times daily once the mom allows me into the nest.  They are exposed to other pets, children and sounds so that they are not fearful when they go to their new home.

I do not sell to breeders, wholesalers or pet stores.  All hedgehogs are sold on a pet only contract.  My focus is on providing the healthiest and happiest pet possible to the general public.  Check out my guest book page to see what my customers have to say about my babies!  Feel free to contact them if you have any questions!  I have years of references available and most of my customers are referred by a friend or family member.

My babies are bred for health first.  We never breed any animal with genetic abnormalities and we keep very detailed records and lineage on all of our breeding animals.  We do offer a written 12 month genetic health guarantee (one of the longest in the insustry) on all of our babies. We also offer a LIFETIME guarantee against Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome.
 

I also rescue hedgehogs and will not turn a hedgie away for ANY REASON.  From time to time, we offer our rescues up for adoption to qualified homes once they are ready.  We have many rescues that live out their lives with us due to health problems or temperamental problems. We love them all the same!
